Private label card programs significantly increase

that extends credit to their customers, or would like to extend
credit, can offer a special purpose private label credit card
that can be used only at their stores. These automated billing
programs use the same data processing systems that bank credit
cards utilize, however they are "closed loop" and are

than focusing on the credit function as a profit center. With
private label programs, you fund the receivables but pay no discount
fee as with bank credit card acceptance. In addition, you determine
